Hip and trendy
Grünerløkka, located on the east side of Akerselva, is bustling with interesting people who make this a colorful and vibrant place to live. The old factories from the 19th century are now home to microbreweries, independent theaters and hip cafes, and there are green parks, art galleries, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and preferences. There aren't that many hotels on Grünerløkka, but luckily you can now rent your own apartment at Maya Apartments Grünerløkka.

With its 10,000 inhabitants, Skjetten forms the small town. Skjetten borders Strømmen, Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Skedsmokorset, Nittedal and Oslo. If you enjoy the outdoors, you'll have a lot to be excited about living here. Rural surroundings with beautiful views both high and low. A small farm in the distance with the sun shining through the morning fog that floats and eases over the landscape. Everything from floodlit paths and river runs to bird watching is nearby.
You are still close to "where it's happening" with the center of Lillestrøm and the Norwegian Trade Fair just 5 minutes away.

Grünerløkka
Recognized by the prison bars on the windows, the brick building to your left as you enter the courtyard was the prison where the drunkards and villains were kept for detention, while the glass house to your right was the stable for the forsens. Built in 1876 and serving the residents until 1973, the building has now undergone extensive renovation, making it Grünerløkka's most modern serviced apartments for short-term rental.

Skjetten
Today, Kasjotten has been restored and refurbished, and a new building has been erected so that today there are 45 fully furnished apartments. The apartments no longer have an old-fashioned interior, but inspired by the Scandinavian style, the interior has been refreshed and completely changed.
